Delicious food and a beautiful view. Well worth the money. Our waiter gave us one of the best dining experiences we've ever had.
We were able to get a walk in to the restaurant for dining. There was a good selection of local Oregon wines. I had the halibut with risotto and it was amazing. Their dessert was amazing as well. The service was good and prompt. Will visit again.
Had one of the best breakfast buffets of all time this morning at the Cascade Dining Room within the Timberline Lodge. Everything was fresh, the meal offerings were unique, and the service was fantastic. We couldn't recommend this breakfast experience highly enough!
Loved the lunch buffet. I stopped in during my PCT thru hike. We were hungry, stinky, dirty... looked like a homeless people. Every employee treated us like we were royalty which was shocking to us for such a nice establishment. I can't say enough good things about the service. The food was fantastic! Large variety of food. The salami machine was my favorite. The fruit plate was massive and had it all. Everything was delicious.
The food was all very tasty, on the expensive side but you're in a pretty special place. The atmosphere in the lodge is pretty cool. Lots of interesting relics to see. My grand dad and I also stopped in for the breakfast buffet twice. I wish they kept more fruit out, but most everything else was well maintained. Each of our wait staff were all very nice and friendly.
Portions aren't big but the food is FANTASTIC and the service was phenomenal. They ask about dietary restrictions up front and make helpful tips. Highly recommend making reservations which we failed to do. But staying the night at Timberline Lodge, we called down and got added to the walk in list and got a text when the table was ready. Market selection appetizer was an especially great hit. Beautiful views at sunset too.
Excellent food and hospitality. My server was Gavin and he was great with menu suggestions, steak and skillet cookie dessert, as well as tips for skiing and snowboarding trails too. Would definitely recommend!
We arrived at Timberline Lodge on the first evening of snow, greeted by the cozy glow of fireplaces warming the lodge. After a day filled with sightseeing and hiking, we were ready for a hearty meal, and friends had highly recommended the Cascade Dining Room. Our friendly waiter seated us and suggested their top dishes, including the Grilled Northwest Beef, Braised Lamb Shank, and a Crab Cake appetizer. Everything was spot on! The portions were generous – we could have easily shared a single entree. The beef was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor, while the lamb shank was deliciously rich and fall-off-the-bone tender. These comforting dishes warmed us right up. To end the night, we shared a skillet cookie with ice cream, the perfect sweet finish. The view from our table was magical, with snowflakes sparkling in the light just outside the window. Cascade Dining Room made for a perfect evening – great food, warm ambiance, and unforgettable views. Highly recommended!
